Q : What is a sealer/primer or undercoat?
A: Sealer/primer or undercoat on a new walls to minimize the risk of efflorescence. It can be used for new walls or repainted walls to promotes better adhesion.It binds the chalky paint, firms it up, so that subsequent new paint will not flake on aging.

Q:How do you treat paint that is flaking off?

A:There is many possibilities of why the paint is flaking off. To treat it generally we scrap it and sand it by sand paper. If the painted areas and scraped areas is not level and smooth we need to skim coating and make it level before we sand it again and painting. if the old paint condition is quite bad and many flakes is coming off then it is better to remove all the old paint with scraper and paint remover.
